Character entries from your manuscript

Novilot does not ask you to build a character database from blank forms. It reads your manuscript and suggests the characters it finds. You approve what belongs, edit what needs fixing, and skip the rest. Each approved entry can hold aliases and nicknames, appearance, personality, relationships, and notes grounded in what you actually wrote.

Aliases that keep names straight

Characters rarely go by one name. A hero might be “Elena,” “Elena Voss,” and “Captain” in different scenes. Story bible entries support aliases so the same person stays linked across those forms, which helps Continuity Guardian treat them as one character rather than three.

Consistency checks that catch drift

Once characters are in the bible, Continuity Guardian audits the manuscript for trait and relationship contradictions across chapters. Separately, Char Consistency analysis reviews how a character holds together in the draft. Both surfaces quote the text so you can judge each finding yourself.
