Dove va la mia scrittura?
La tua scrittura è memorizzata nel tuo account Novilot così puoi riaprirla. Quando usi una funzione IA, la parte rilevante viene inviata all’API di Anthropic per eseguire quella funzione (per esempio una scansione di continuità o un suggerimento). Addestrate l’IA sul mio manoscritto?
No. La tua scrittura non viene mai usata per addestrare alcun modello, nostro o di altri. I termini commerciali dell’API di Anthropic vietano anche l’addestramento sui contenuti dei clienti API.
Posso eliminare il mio lavoro?
Sì. Puoi eliminare qualsiasi progetto dall’app in qualsiasi momento, e questo rimuove in modo permanente il progetto e i suoi dati IA derivati. Per eliminare l’intero account, contattaci e rimuoviamo la tua scrittura, i dati di lavoro IA, la cronologia di utilizzo e il profilo dal nostro database.
Novilot scrive il libro al posto mio?
No. Continuity Guardian legge e verifica il tuo manoscritto. Trova contraddizioni e dà feedback, ma non scrive né riscrive la prosa al posto tuo. L’aiuto IA opzionale alla scrittura (completamento automatico in riga e chat) è disponibile e sotto il tuo controllo; puoi spegnere il completamento automatico. Decidi tu ogni parola che resta nel libro.
Che lunghezza di manoscritto riesce a gestire?
Non c’è un limite fisso di parole del manoscritto. Una scansione di Continuity Guardian costa crediti in base a quante parole legge, quindi ciò che puoi scansionare dipende dal saldo crediti, non dal livello del piano. Ogni risultato indica esattamente quante parole sono state scansionate. I libri più lunghi si possono importare; la scansione riporta cosa ha coperto.
Quanto costa?
The free plan includes 50 welcome AI credits, provided once with no expiry or monthly refill. A Continuity Guardian scan costs credits based on how many words it reads. Re-opening an unchanged result is free, because unchanged scans are cached. Writer is $19/month with 100 credits per paid billing period. A $9 Revision Pack adds 40 non-expiring credits to Free or Writer. Taxes are shown at checkout.
Can I buy a Revision Pack without Writer?
Yes. Sign in to a Free account and buy 40 extra AI credits for a one-time payment of $9, before applicable taxes. You do not need a Writer subscription. Your account stays on Free with its existing project allowance and the same core AI tools. Your remaining welcome credits are used first, then your purchased credits.
Can I buy another Revision Pack later?
Yes. Buy another pack whenever you need more credits, on Free or Writer. Each successful purchase adds 40 credits to your purchased balance. Purchased credits do not expire. Packs never renew automatically and do not start a subscription.
What happens to my pack credits if I cancel Writer?
You keep your unused purchased credits. Cancel through Manage billing; Writer access continues until the end of your paid period. When you return to Free, any remaining welcome credits become available again and are used before your purchased credits. Buying a pack does not renew Writer or change your project limit.
How many projects can I have on Free?
New Free accounts can create or import one personal project, alongside the provided example projects. Examples do not count toward that allowance, even if you rename or edit them. Accounts already registered when the project limits launched on September 23, 2026 keep unlimited projects on Free. Writer allows unlimited personal projects.
Will I lose projects if I downgrade from Writer?
No. All your existing projects stay in your account and remain open and editable on Free. For accounts with the one-personal-project allowance, the limit only applies when creating or importing another project. Upgrade to Writer to add more, or create a new personal project if you have none. AI tools still use credits; a Revision Pack adds credits without changing your project allowance.
What happens to existing users' free credits?
At the September 23, 2026 launch, existing registered Free accounts received a one-time reset to a full balance of 50 welcome AI credits. The reset set each balance to 50; it did not add 50 to the old balance. Accounts with complimentary Writer access also returned to Free and received this reset. These credits do not expire and will not refill each month. New Free accounts receive the same one-time welcome allowance. Accounts with a paid subscription were excluded from the reset.
What happens when I use all my free credits?
New AI work pauses when your welcome credits run out, because free credits do not refill. Your manuscripts stay in your account, and you can keep writing, editing, and reading saved results. You can subscribe to Writer or buy a Revision Pack; visit Pricing to compare the options. Running out of credits does not start a subscription or charge your card.

Posso fare il backup del mio manoscritto fuori da Novilot?
Sì. Con un account gratuito connesso puoi collegare Dropbox o installare la Novilot GitHub App, poi fare push di pacchetti di manoscritto, Story Bible e scaletta da Impostazioni del progetto. I backup sono solo push (non sync bidirezionale). Puoi eseguirli a mano o con una programmazione giornaliera o settimanale. Le sessioni ospite non possono collegare destinazioni di backup; registrati gratis e il lavoro viene con te.
