AI en jouw schrijven
Een roman in een AI-tool zetten is een écht besluit, en schrijvers hebben gelijk dat ze harde vragen stellen voordat ze het doen. Hier zijn de antwoorden, inclusief waar de grenzen liggen.
Je schrijven wordt nooit gebruikt om een model te trainen
We do not train models on your manuscript or opt it into provider training programs. Anthropic handles Claude features and OpenAI creates embeddings for manuscript search; both exclude commercial API content from training by default. This does not mean zero retention or that authorized human review is impossible.
AI features process the context they need, and search indexing can run in the background after chapter saves or imports. Full detail lives in our privacybeleid.
Novilot leest. Jij schrijft.
Bijna alles hier is analyse: continuïteitscontrole, Story Bible opbouwen, tempo, personage-arcs, structuur. Het leest wat jij schreef en vertelt wat het vond. Het proza blijft van jou.
Waar de app tekst kan voorstellen, past hij nooit iets uit zichzelf toe. Copilot-bewerkingen komen als een voorstel dat je Toepast of Sluit. Automatisch aanvullen is een suggestie die je met een toetsaanslag accepteert, het kan in de werkbalk uit, en op een splinternieuw project start het uit, omdat een eerste versie ruw mag zijn.
Wat uitgevers écht eisen
Amazon KDP trekt de grens bij AI-gegenereerd content: tekst, afbeeldingen of vertalingen gemaakt door een AI-tool, die je bij Amazon moet vermelden wanneer je publiceert. Het behandelt AI-ondersteund werken anders: hulp bij ideeën, structuur, grammatica en feedback op schrijven dat van jou is. Dat vereist geen vermelding, en het is de kant waarop de analysetools van Novilot zitten.
Beleid verschilt per uitgever, agent en wedstrijd, verschillende zijn strenger dan Amazon, en ze bewegen nog. Als je de schrijffuncties gebruikt in plaats van de analysefuncties, check de regels waar je inzendt. Dat zeggen we liever dan te doen alsof de vraag is afgehandeld.
Je boek kan altijd weg
Export the whole manuscript at any time as DOCX, EPUB, PDF, HTML or Markdown, plus your story bible and notes. You can connect a GitHub repository and have Novilot back your work up there, so a copy lives somewhere you control. Account deletion removes content from the active database. Backup expiry, provider retention, and your own exported copies are separate; see the privacy policy for the details.
Waar het model draait
Novilot uses Anthropic's Claude models over their API. We tested local models during development and the quality was not there for continuity work over a whole novel. If that changes, the model is a swappable part of the system. The story graph is private working data derived from your manuscript, not a transfer of ownership to Novilot or the model provider.
